room: this is the room where most of the recording gets done. it has really pleasing dimensions and sounds great for drums, acoustic guitars, loud amps or vocals. it's pretty much completely isolated from the sounds of the outside world.. at one end of the room is the microphone closet. we have a pretty cool collection of old and new microphones ranging from Neumann and Sony tube mics from the late 1950s and early 1960s to russian and german condensor and ribbon microphones to old standards like the Shure sm-57 and sm-81. this room is wired directly into the ... |
