m a c h i n e s  |  n a t i o n a l National Reso-Lectric: this odd looking animal is an electric resonator guitar. it has resonating metal cones under the top. this gives it a distinctly nasal quality which provides a nice contrast to some of the warmer sounds i'm usually drawn toward. i used it on the "blink"versions of "willoughby" and "tattoo" and in the studio for the feedback sounds on "this train" and the solo guitar on "the traveler."
