m a c h i n e s  |  l e s   p a u l 1971 LesPaul Deluxe. this guitar was one of the most wonderful gifts i've ever received. my wife bought it for me at christmas and it was a complete suprise. even though the "sandwich" body is threatening to come apart at the seams (anyone know a remedy?), it's still one of my very favorite instruments. whenever you hear me playing an e-bow in the studio, it's almost always this guitar. it's the guitar on the "blink" version of "circle of quiet," i used it almost exclusively for "like a radio"(back in the Over the Rhine days.) i think it's what you hear on the live version of "like a radio" on "amateur shortwave radio".
